We arrived to the Zimbabwe border at around 08.30 in the morning. They had already put up alters and controls for the Corona Virus.

 It was then time to head back out again and drive to the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. The word Zimbabwe means “House of Stone”, which originates from this particular place.

This morning we packed down the tents in the rain and left our beautiful campsite in Masvingo. We had a five hour drive before we reached Bulawayo, which is the second largest city in Zimbabwe.

We were up before the sun putting down the tents and packing down camp. Everyone in the group were still in shock and trying to figure out how to get home as soon as possible.

 After a 20 minute walk we reached the entrance and even from here you could feel the water in the air coming from the falls. The entrance fee on the Zimbabwean side is 30USD for adults.

For dinner we met up with the remaining part of the group at a really nice place called Pariah State. After dinner we said our final goodbyes as all of us would be heading home the next day.

This morning we checked out of our hotel and took a taxi to the Victoria Falls airport. Upon arrival to the airport I literally thought that it was closed.
