General information

Krakow is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland, which dates back to the 7th century. It was formerly the capital of Poland up until 1596. The city has been declared as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe by Conde Nast. The city has a population of about 770,000, with approximately 8 million additional people living within a 100 km radius of its main square. In 1978 the entire old city was declared a world heritage city by UNESCO.

Where to stay

Krakow is a very walkable city with great local transportation. We stayed at a apartment hotel called Lux Aparthotel. This place had great bid rooms with a little kitchenette. It was located in a nice area in just outside the old city walls within walking distance to most of the attractions. 

Where to eat

There are plenty of places that are vegan friendly in Krakow. Here are some of my favourites:
