Russia instagrams View this post on Instagram My Eastern European adventure started off in St Petersburg. This place has been on my bucket list for a long time as my great grandfather lived here as a little boy. He had to flee the country during the Russian revolution. Walking through the city made me think of how my ancestors used to walk on the same streets and I could to a certain extent feel at home in the city. Being in the place that I’ve heard so many stories about was surreal and gave me a greater understanding of my heritage. ✨🇷🇺 (The picture is from the St Petersburg mosque which is embellished with the most amazing blue tiles) . . . #ultimatetraveltales#russia#stpetersburg#stpetersburgmosque#travel#europe#solotravel A post shared by Graceontour💫Travel (@graceontour) on Sep 10, 2019 at 8:32am PDT View this post on Instagram The State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg is the second largest museum in the World, and one of the most popular attractions in the city. It is estimated that if a visitor spent one minute at each exhibit, it would take more than a decade to go round the entire museum. . . . . #russia#stpetersburg#hermitage#hermitagemuseum#travel#russiatravel#discoverrussia#russiatravels#postcardfromtheworld#solotravel#wonderfulplaces#goexplore#wanderlust#momentsofmine#traveladdict#travelbug#roamtheplanet A post shared by Graceontour💫Travel (@graceontour) on Sep 12, 2019 at 9:19am PDT
